Terms of Service
Last updated: June 30, 2026
1. Who we are
The Standing O is operated by standingovationhq ("we", "us"). By using standingovationhq.com you agree to these Terms.
2. What we do
We help groups (the "organizer" and "contributors") create a collaborative Standing O for a third party (the "recipient"). The organizer pays a one-time $5 unlock per send-off. We produce a video reveal and a LinkedIn-ready credential image from contributions submitted via a shareable link.
3. Accounts
Organizers must sign in with email or Google. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 16 years old.
4. Contributor content
Contributors grant the organizer and standingovationhq a non-exclusive license to display, synthesize, and deliver their submissions to the recipient as part of the Standing O. Don't submit anything you don't have the right to share.
5. Acceptable use
See our Content Policy. No harassment, no impersonation, no defamation, no unlawful content. We may remove send-offs that violate these rules.
6. Produced output
Standing Os are produced from contributor submissions. The organizer reviews and approves the draft before delivery; the recipient receives the finished Standing O from the organizer. Output is provided "as is" — review before sharing publicly.
7. Payments and refunds
The unlock fee is $5 USD per send-off, non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy. Payment is processed by Stripe.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You can delete your account by emailing hello@standingovationhq.com.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
Service provided "as is" without warranty. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free output.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, standingovationhq's total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms is capped at the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email or on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
