Refund Policy

The $5 unlock fee is non-refundable, with one exception:
If production fails for technical reasons on our end after the deadline passes, you may request a full refund. Refunds are not automatic — to request one, email hello@standingovationhq.com within 30 days of payment. We'll review the request and, if the failure was technical on our end, issue a full refund to the original payment method within 5 business days.
How to request a refund
- Email hello@standingovationhq.com within 30 days of payment.
- Include the recipient's name and the email you paid with so we can find the order.
- Briefly describe what went wrong.
We'll review and respond. Approved refunds return to the original payment method within 5 business days.
What counts as a technical failure
- Our production pipeline returns repeated invalid output we cannot recover from.
- Our system cannot deliver a draft to your dashboard after the deadline passes.
What does not qualify for a refund
- You changed your mind after paying.
- You forgot to share the contributor link in time and didn't collect enough memories.
- You don't like the synthesized output — you have the ability to edit the draft and to regenerate once.
- The recipient declined to share to LinkedIn.
