Privacy Policy

What we collect

Organizer account: email address, display name, OAuth identifier (if you sign in with Google).
Send-off details: recipient name, occasion, role/company/dates/milestone you choose to enter.
Contributions: contributor name (optional) and answers submitted via the public link.
Payment metadata from Stripe (we never see your card number).
Basic technical logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

To generate and deliver the Standing O the organizer is building.
To send necessary transactional emails (deadline reminders, draft-ready notice, receipts).
To process payments and refunds.
To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and policy violations.

Sharing

We share data with: Stripe (payments), our media production provider (anonymized recipient context plus contributor submissions), and email infrastructure providers. We do not sell your data.

Retention

Send-offs and contributions are retained while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing hello@standingovationhq.com.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data. Email us to exercise these rights.

Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure; report concerns to hello@standingovationhq.com.

Children

The Standing O is not intended for users under 16.
